Victory area

Introduction

You can place multiple victory areas inside an Area.

Whenever a player leaves the area, if he leaves it by going through a victory area, the plugin will consider he have won the puzzle. In this case the plugin will:

  • Save the player statistics (time spent, number of actions done and number of steps within the area).
  • According to the settings defined in Config.yml, send his statistics to the player.
  • According to the settings defined in Config.yml, create a victory checkpoint at the location of his first step outside the area.

According to the settings defined in Config.yml:

  • Players who dies after that will respawn at the victory checkpoint location.
  • Players who join the server will come back to the last victory checkpoint they activated.
  • Players who joins a specific world will come back the the last victory checkpoint they activated within this world.

The "last victory checkpoint" can be overridden by a checkpoint (when the players enters another area).

Creation

To create a victory area you have to:

  • Use /lasers command.
  • Right click with the item Area configuration in hands.
  • Check the Victory Area Mod for victory areas to be the area's victory criteria.
  • Click on Add victory areas.
  • Right click on 2 blocks to define the 2 locations which will define the victory area. Victory areas must touch at least one edge of the puzzle area.
  • If your puzzle has multiple exits you can continue creating more victory area. Else you can exist the menu.

Deletion

It is not possible to delete a single victory areas. It's only possible to delete all victory areas within a puzzle area at once.

To delete a checkpoint you have to:

  • Use /lasers command.
  • Right click with the item Area configuration in hands.
  • Click on Delete victory areas.
