Introduction

When this elevator is activated, it can gives your players reach different floors.

Conditional

It can be conditionally activated according to the selected detection modes.

Creation

  • Create the elevator cage structure (the place the player will stand while it moves). Create is at the ground floor location because the elevator will never be able to go under the location where it is created. The player must have at least a 3 blocks high space in order for him to be able to jump.

  • Use the /lasers command.
  • Right click on one of the elevator cage's corner while holding the Place component menu item.
  • Select the Elevator component.
  • Select the opposite corner of the elevator.

Configure the elevator floors

When created, the elevator only has his default ground floor. you will have to create other floors:

  • Place yourself in the elevator cage.
  • Use the /lasers command.
  • Right click on one of the elevator cage's blocks to get the component edition shortcut bar.
  • Then you have two options. The first one is better if your floors are closed to each other:
    • Jump until you reach the high where you want to create a floor.
    • Right click Create a floor here.
  • The second one is particularly adapted if you want to create very big elevators:
    • Place yourself in the elevator cage.
    • Right click while holding Component configuration to open the advanced component configuration menu.
    • Click on Go as high as possible. The elevator will then reach the highest position it can reach. It can be block by either the limit of the area, the limit of the world or a block on his path.
    • Crouch to go down.
    • Jump when the elevator reach the location where you want to create a floor.
    • Right click Create a floor here.

Call button

Call buttons will call the elevator to the floor which is the closest from this call button.

Call button creation

  • Use the /lasers command.
  • Right click on one of the elevator cage's blocks to get the component edition shortcut bar.
  • Right click on the surface where you want to create it while holding the Call button menu item.

Restrict access to specific floors

To restrict access to specific floors you need to use a sticky piston to place a block on the path of the elevator. In order for the elevator to still be able to its original position you may need to use a complex redstone/command block system. If you need help for creating it feel free to contact us on discord.
