Checkpoint

Introduction

You can place a checkpoint inside an Area.

According to the settings defined in Config.yml:

  • Players who dies in the area will respawn at the checkpoint location (and facing the defined direction).
  • Players who join the server will come back to the last checkpoint they activated (by simply entering the checkpoint's area).
  • Players who joins a specific world will come back the the last checkpoint they activated within this world (by simply entering the checkpoint's area).

2 Types of checkpoints are saved.

  • the area checkpoint of the area
  • the victory checkpoint: the location of the first step the player did when he leaved the area after winning it.

Each new checkpoint overrides the previous one.

Creation

To create a checkpoint you have to:

  • Use /lasers command.
  • Place yourself at the exact location where you want players to respawn. Also care about the direction you are facing because players will also face the same direction.
  • Right click with the item Area configuration in hands.
  • Click on Define the checkpoint.


Deletion

Only one checkpoint can exist per Area. So if you want to replace a checkpoint just create a new one. You don't have to delete the previous one.

To delete a checkpoint you have to:

  • Use /lasers command.
  • Right click with the item Area configuration in hands.
  • Click on Delete the checkpoint.
